Michael Lee Gatewood

Michael Lee Gatewood, 69, died on April 29, 2020 in Austin, Texas, a few weeks after receiving a diagnosis of advanced lung cancer. Mike was a1969 graduate of Caroline High School. Mike was pre-deceased by his parents, Carlton Ray and Rae Covington Gatewood, his sister, Jeanne Wynne Clapp, and his brother, Roger Gatewood. Mike lived most of his adult life n New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, he moved to Austin to be near his brother, Roger. Mike is survived by his devoted sister-in-law, Joanne Gatewood.  His ashes are interred in Austin.
