Margaret Rebecca “Margo” Graves Thomas

Margaret Rebecca “Margo” Graves Thomas, 82 of King George, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020.  Daughter to the late Robert and Minnie Graves, Margo loved gardening and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Formerly of Philadelphia and South New Jersey, she was an active member of her church there.  She always volunteered for activities there and loved to help people.  Margo loved to help the disabled by driving them to appointments and cooking and cleaning their homes.  She loved animals and always had a pet to love.  After working in Logistics for 35 years, she retired from the Department of the Navy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years William Thomas; a daughter Michelle “Cookie” Cooper; a brother Freddie, and sisters Josephine and Barbara.

Survivors include her children Faith Little, Patrick Craig (Brittonia) and Walter Craig, Jr. (Gail); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and a brother Robert Graves (“Peaches”).

The family will receive friends at 9am on Wednesday December 23 at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel.  A graveside service will follow at Historyland Memorial Park at 10am.
