Matthew Ward Riley

Matthew Ward Riley, 47, of Colonial Beach, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 10, 2021.

Born in Atchison, Kansas, he was a son of James and Rita Ward Riley. Matthew worked in auto salvage and was working toward starting a golf cart business. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Colonial Beach Aerie and an avid boating enthusiast. He cherished time spent with friends and family.

Among his survivors are daughter, Kayleigh Giltner; parents, James and Rita Ward Riley and siblings, Sarah DeLuca and Stephen Riley. He was predeceased by sister, Rachel Frost.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Storke Funeral Home, Colonial Beach Chapel. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00. Interment will be private.
