Betty B Newman

Betty B. Newman, 88, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at her home in Fredericksburg, VA.  Daughter to the late Thomas Brown and Margaret Wise Fisher, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence Lee Newman; three children Sharon Shields, Jack Schroth, Jean Ann Brooks; and granddaughter Nicole Newman.

Survivors include daughter Trish Newman; sons Kenneth Newman (Dana), Jimmy Newman (Robin), Wayne Newman, Clarence Lee Newman, Jr.; daughter-in-law Debbie Schroth; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper at 12noon on Saturday, April 3.  A luncheon will follow at Luigi’s Restaurant, 235 Southgate Shopping Center, Culpeper, VA  22701.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to At Home Care Hospice.
