Cindy Tignor went home April 12, 2021, to be with her Great Lord. She was 56 years old and lived an absolutely blessed life in Caroline County. Cindy loved her family more than life itself and she was the happiest when she was with them. She moved to Caroline County in 1992 after marrying her best friend and love of her life, Todd, in August of 1991. Cindy was employed by Caroline County for 18 years, and found great joy in serving the community. She never met a stranger because her smile and conversation would light up a room and make everyone feel included. She enjoyed laughing, dancing, and shopping, but most of all, spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, Cindy leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Kasey Holland (Allen) and Brittany Tignor (Anthony), and two beautiful grandsons, Turner and Clay Holland. They were their Maw’s everything. She is also survived by her dad and mom, Leo and Billie Reynolds; father and mother-in-law, George and Joyce Tignor; sister-in-law, Karen Tignor; brothers-in-law, Chris Hicks and Tommy Hicks, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her four sisters, Teresa Hicks, Rhonda Hicks, Maureen McDaniel, and Regina Reynolds, who welcomed her into Heaven’s gates. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, April 16th at 11:00am in Salem Baptist Church, Sparta. The family will receive friends at the Bowling Green chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Thursday, April 15th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. All current Covid-19 restrictions will be adhered to, including capacity levels, social distancing and mask requirements. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Salem Baptist Church. |
