Mary Kathryn Schrader Hunn

Mary Kathryn “MK” Schrader Hunn, 78, of Mechanicsville died with her family by her side. MK loved her family, was a member of Broadus Baptist Church, loved playing games and was an avid card player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel M. Hunn, Jr. Survivors include her two daughters, Bonnie Gromovsky (Sam) and Jerri Smith (Steve); a brother, Norman Schrader (Sandra); four grandchildren, Jacob Gromovsky (Casandra), Kara Gromovsky, Connor Smith and Sara Smith and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held 11 am Sat. Aug. 28, 2021 at Broadus Memorial Baptist Church, 5351 Pole Green Road, Mechanicsville, VA. 23116. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital, 100 E Broad St, Richmond, VA 23219, Broadus Memorial Baptist Church, 5351 Pole Green Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116 or St. Jude’s Children’ s Hospital.
