LT Joseph E. Chmelarsky

LT Joseph E. Chmelarsky, 75, of King George, passed away March 15, 2019. LT Joseph E. Chmelarsky retired from the Navy after serving for 30 years. He was a member of the Hudson Morris Masonic Lodge. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved spending time with family. He is survived by his daughters, Shelley A. Lester (Delmar) and Stacey L. Palivoda (Shawn); grandchildren, Mac Collier, Lee Palivoda, Katelynn Palivoda, Andrew Palivoda and Joiella Lester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Chmelarsky; son, Marvin Windford; parents, Joseph and Ruth Chmelarsky; brother Rick Chmelarsky and his sister, Dede Blough.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison PKWY, King George, VA, 22485, where a visitation will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will follow at Historyland Memorial Park in King George.
