Wanemah Creech Kuykendall, 87, of King George passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her residence. She was the daughter to the late Jesse Eugene Creech and Jewel Francis Webb of Oklahoma. She was a telephone operator at Southwestern Bell in OKC, OK. Wanemah loved to work in her garden and flower beds. She loved being outside more than in the house. She also volunteered at the Sheep Pen in Dahlgren. In addition to her parents, Wanemah was preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 39 years Paul Kuykendall; brothers Jesse Cecil Creech (Rachel & Betty), Orel Eugene Creech (Betty Jean), Charles Dewayne Creech; brothers-in-law Louis Willmette, Monroe Bettis; and sister-in-law Marie Creech. Wanemah is survived by her daughter Paula A. and son-in-law Harold A. (Shorty) Crouse of King George; son Douglas Paul Kuykendall of Colonial Beach; grandson Michael A. Crouse and fiancé Gabbie Bowie of Colonial Beach; sisters Olla Dee Bettis of Tulsa, OK, Mildred Louise Willmette of OKC, OK; brother Dennis Eli Creech of OKC, OK; sister-in-lay Oma Fay Creech; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 10am on Thursday, November 18 at Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel. A funeral service to follow at 11am followed by a graveside at 12:30pm at Historyland Memorial Park.
