David Franklin Amos, 79, of Ruther Glen passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He was a retired employee of Philip Morris. David enjoyed deer hunting with his son and grandson, and was a member of Old Church Hunt Club for 24 years. He also enjoyed driving his dump truck “Rolling Stone”, riding his Harley Davidson, and enjoying long weekends on the York River riding their jet skis with family and friends. David is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years Dorothy Munden Amos; his son and daughter in law Trey and Stephanie Amos, and his two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Wyatt Amos. He was preceded in death by his parents Atlee and Alease Amos and sister Carol Amos Frith all of Goochland. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Signal Hill Memorial Park at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 27 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. |
