During difficult times, flowers have always communicated our thoughts and feelings when words alone were just not enough. But most people would agree that after a funeral is over, family and friends return home, floral tributes are left on the grave to wither and die.
Storke Funeral Home introduces a new program, unique to the industry, called “Floral Legacy”. With the family’s permission, the funeral home staff will transport any number of floral arrangements, designated by the family, back to the funeral home at the conclusion of the funeral.
The next day, a group of volunteers will “take apart” the funeral baskets, grouping the different types of flowers, greenery and other foliage and rearranging them in attractive vases and containers to be distributed to local nursing homes, hospitals or elderly shut-ins.
What a fitting tribute to your loved one — to know that others will benefit and be blessed with this unique “gift” that keeps giving.
