Dear Mindy, Kevin and Doug, Please know that the team at Trahos-Phillips Dental is keeping you all in our prayers. I always enjoyed having Jamie as a patient and finding out what he was up to. His interests were so fascinating and it was intriguing learning about them. It was a pleasure to have known him. May God give you peace and comfort in his understanding way to sustain you through your sorrow. Sincerely, Jane Bailey

It was a pleasure to work with him in IT during my year long stent in that department. Even before and after my run there, he was always reliable! I’m sorry we didn’t get to know each other better.

I had the pleasure of being friends with Jamie during high school. He and I had many things in common and got along quite well. We bonded over our mutual reverence of RPG video games (an eccentric taste in those days), and he graciously lent me several that I had not played before. I have countless fond memories of spending time with him as we partook in the adventures of being young and invincible. Jamie was a genuinely good person and I admired him greatly. He was also really funny! There were a lot of cracking jokes, doing voices and impressions. I really liked his Yoda, it was very good. It was fun to make him laugh, too. He was very talented and musically-inclined: I enjoyed hearing him play Metallica songs on guitar. I played too, but he was better at it than I was. I regret that we parted ways after graduating high school, and that our interactions have been fleeting and brief since then. Nonetheless, I am very sad to learn of his passing. It’s really unfair that his life was cut short. Please receive my sincere condolences and my apologies for not being able to attend in person. I will remember Jamie, always.

I know you don’t know me, but I would like to send my deepest condolences. I know that on December 15, your life changed forever. I know this because I witnessed Jamies’s accident. I called for help & was able to locate the vehicle, & stayed with him until the authorities arrived. I want you to know that I tried my hardest to help him but I could not physically get to him. I prayed for him, family, and friends, prayed he would make it. I hope that you find peace knowing that he is now in a better place & an angle watching over you all.

We had the pleasure of knowing Jamie and his mom as they live across the street from us. He was a great young man and so very smart. He had had some hardships in his life but always worked through them. His mother adored him, he will be missed.
