We’ve known Carol for many years. Always fun to be with her. After she went to work at the library, I looked forward to seeing her and sharing a few words of conversation. We’ll miss her.

Peter Mangold I met and became friends with Ms.Carrol while visiting my daughter who worked at the library. We became fast friends because of age ,likes and love of reading. Ms. Carrol was the “Library Mom” as my daughter called her. My your rest be eternal and peaceful, we here will keep your memory alive until our date with the Lord comes.

How does one summarize a lifetime in words? It is impossible. Knowing and loving Carol for many years makes me sad to say goodbye but GLAD we will meet again. As friends, we watched each other’s kids grow up (or as we often kidded…”at least get older!”). That is just one of the millions of happy times I will keep close in my heart. I am sure you have a ton of happy memories of your own. Share them. Laugh, cry and remember. Doing that will keep Carol close to you. There are so many things you must be feeling today. I trust that what you feel most is loved, remembered and held close to many hearts, because you are! Grief never ends…but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love. I am grieving but also celebrating that Carol has gone home! love, “the other carol” 😉
