Leon was like a big brother and a father to us. He kept the shop employees on the straight and narrow path but always had a smile on his face. He will be truly missed by all of his friends here. Bless his family and R.I.P Big Brother.

Sending our deepest sympathies to the entire Jordan family. I recall meeting Mr. Jordan for the first time on a visit to KG from college with Lorra in the mid-late 90s. Even though Lorra and Leon Jr. were not yet married at the time, I could tell she was already part of the family ☺️. Lorra would sometimes tell me about how much she had to “share” Leon Jr with his dad, LOL. He definitely loved his boys and was very family-oriented! We are praying for you all. With love, Denise & Greg Shelton and family. ❤️❤️❤️

I can’t express how sorry I am to hear of Leon’s passing. I met Leon when he started working in the Stone Mason Shop at the Architect of the Capitol. We worked hard and had fun doing it. I always enjoyed hearing his hunting stories and sharing mine with him. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Prayers to the Jordan family.

I was truly sadden to hear of Brother Leon’s homegoing, but on the other hand his commitment to God and life lived gives me peace in my spirit that he’s resting in the arms of Jesus. Praying for Sis. Ruby and family that the comfort of God will replace the physical absence of Brother Leon, and all of the fond memories of him will continually be with you to comfort you.

Dear Ones, You are in my thoughts and prayers. Life never can be measured in the number of days a person lived, but by the beautiful, brilliant life that colored those days. Leon colored his walk on earth brilliantly! Long ago, my daddy taught me that as long as we keep the happy memories of our loved ones alive in our heart they can never truly leave us. I have tested that over the years and found it to be true. I am confident that you have many happy memories of Leon. Share them with each other. Laugh, cry and remember. It will keep him close. And be grateful that one day you will all meet up again and praise. I am asking God to wrap His loving arms around you now and give you strength to carry on as Leon would want. Great is our God and His power is mighty! Love, carol 😉 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God

Leon was a kind, quiet hardworking gentlemen that everyone just enjoyed being in his company. He had a quick wit, was funny and we enjoyed all the times we were blessed to be in his presence. He built our families famous table of love a huge picnic table and a gazebo that we’ve enjoyed with our kids and grandkids! And fishing.. He was a fisherman’s fisherman! He loved being on the water and in nature and we enjoyed being with him! Rest well Leon! No more pain, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! We are praying God‘s comfort strength and peace for the family. ❤️??? Kevin & Meschelle Williams
