Beverly and Tommy, Our sincere condolences to you and the family of your Mom’s passing. She was one of the sweetest and kindest ladies we ever knew. Mom always thought of her as a sister. We certainly shared some very fond memories back in the day of Hugo’s dance hall. Those were always such good times and fellowship. Please convey our condolences to the rest of the family. She truly was a gracious southern lady and I’m sure she will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

My memories of Bessie began when she and my mother took turns driving Jimmy and I to Mrs. Vaughan’s kindergarten. She remained the same kind sweet person all of her life. I enjoyed our chats every time we ran into each other. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Bessie will be missed.
