After 5 months I am still at a loss to express the depths of my sadness. You were not only my cousin, but my brother, friend, and cheerleader.. always a smile or funny story to make my day. You will be missed always.. love you without reservation. Your cousin.. Dawn

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike’s family during this difficult time.I was shocked and saddened by his sudden passing. I will always cherish the fond memories of growing up with Mike when he lived in Dahlgren next to my cousins and thoughout the years in high school. He was such a funny and friendly person. He made me laugh so much! The last time I saw Mike was at my son’s wedding and he was just the same as he was in high school. Hilarious! It makes me smile just saying this.He will be missed but remembered by many. Rest in peace dear Mike.

Mike and I both worked on Marine Base Quantico, we also rode to work together every day in a vanpool. Mike is a very positive and influential person, and was also comical and witty making all of the riders hysterically laugh the entire ride. He is a great person and would definitely be greatly missed! I said IS because his spirit is still alive with us all

I’m still trying to process the shock that you’re gone. There is no doubt in my mind that you are already in heaven carrying on with that charismatic personality of yours. I have many great memories of you through the years. In my mind Michael will always be little Michael. (Scoobs) I know how proud you were to be a grandpa. I’m glad we were able to have a great conversation and laugh and catch up, prior to your passing. I always enjoyed laghing and joking with you and calling you out on your crap. Rest easy Mike. You will be missed. Until we meet again. Thinking of your family, loved ones and Sheila during this difficult time. My prayers are with all of you.

Michael, I remember the 1st time I met you and your dad @ BMS on a visit to TN (Go Vols!). We instantly became friends. Your dad was one of kind, always upbeat, and unforgettable. I know he was so proud of you, and happy to be a Grandfather. I’m truly sad to hear of his passing and wish you and your family comfort during this time of heartbreak. I know you will miss him dearly! Blessings to you!

To the family, I will always remember Mike for his kindness and love that he had for everyone. I remember when Mike would pop up at my grandmother’s house to hang out with my uncle and/or cousins from time-to-time. Matthew 5:4 says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” I pray that you will find comfort knowing that your amazing, loved one has taken his place beside the Almighty Father. Mike will always hold a place in my heart and I’m so thankful for the many laughs and his friendship. Sheila, I love you my friend.
