I worked with Charlene for several years at the Caroline libraries as a volunteer and then staff. We loved Charlene and our children would run to hug her at story time. She was a vast wealth of knowledge and stories. I am so sorry to see she has passed and pray for the family! Our hearts ache with you! God Bless!

Ms. Charlene will be missed. She was such a kind woman and she was such a blessing to the community. My daughter loved going to story time with her and seeing her at the library. We last saw her at her retirement party at the library, when she did her final story time. I’m so glad we got to celebrate her and I hope she knew how loved she was by all of those families. My condolences go out to her family.
