Oh this one is tough for me. Senior Chief Kent was an amazing woman to say the least. She always had a smile and was my favorite person to have on the unit. I was her nurse many times during her battle but she never complained except when the heat was out on the unit. She made an impact on me as a new nurse but also everyone on 5 west. She will be missed deeply but am grateful to have know her.

Eddie and I send you and Carl our love and prayers. We are so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. In her short years on this earth she made a huge impact with her years of service and I’m sure brought much happiness to all of you and the many others she met along the way. Ann Metherd
Visitation & Funeral Service Information
A service with military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date, where family, friends and fellow service members will gather to honor the life of a woman who gave so much to her country and loved ones.
