To the Hampton family, Our condolences for your loss. Our prayers and thoughts are frequent for those who suffer due to the pain of losing someone. We all experience this loss but the Bible promises that soon death will end at Revelation 7:15-17 The scriptures has provided comfort for the loved ones I’ve lost and shows what God’s plan is for those who have passed. The encouraging video below gives comfort from the Bible and about the end of death https://bit.ly/truthlifedeath Take peace knowing our God is comforting you

Rest in Peace Mike! Our deepest condolences to all family and friends. I spent many years (80s-2000s)serving with Mike and definitely understood his joy for the outdoors and soldiering! I remember Mike’s nickname, “Snake Bite” when he returned from an Arkansas deployment following and encounter with a feisty serpent! Mike was a joy to serve with and he will be missed by so many! Again, Rest in Peace Warrior!

I didn’t know Mr. Hampton that well, but I’m close with Mrs.Hampton and Chris. They’ve always been very kind and wonderful friends to my family and I. I’d like to give my condolences and prayers to the family. I know it’s not easy. Please know my family and I are here for you. May he rest in peace and always be watching over the rest of his family. Much love being sent your way.

Michael was a good man and great American. His love of family, especially Theresa, spilled over to his Soldiers. He took great interest in their lives and careers and always wanted the best for them. The world was a little more pleasant when Michael was around. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation & Funeral Service Information

A celebration of Michael’s life will take place on Friday, November 15th at Storke Funeral Home in King George.  We will honor Mike’s love of sci-fi with casual dress and Star Wars/Star Trek shirts.

An open casket viewing will take place from 1:00 – 2:00pm, followed by another hour of closed casket visitation with the family.

At 3:00pm the Virginia Army National Guard will render military honors.

After honors, his friend and former co-worker, Pastor Steve Nelson will lead a time of remembrance.

Following this service, the family will host a catered reception until 7:00pm.

There will also be a video camera for anyone wanting to record a message or story for the family to enjoy.

In lieu of flowers, the family would love to have potted flowering perennials to complete the gardens that Michael was unable to finish.
