I came out of Buckingham County in 1983 taking a truck driver job in Milford..Donnie was a mechanic there..I asked him if there was a apartment to rent somewhere..He said yhea right there. It was 150 ft away..He said he had a room to rent..I would be gone all week and weekends would be only time there… It was Great..We became close friends immediately.I was introduced to the Greatest family one could meet. His Mother and Father, brother Mike and Linda and Warren.. Was with one them every weekend at Colonial Beach..Meeting Hal,Haywood,Scotty and Fat Pat ,Smoker and some of the finest flatbed trucks drivers the industry had..Most of US woke up in a different state everyday.. Delivering Products From Hoover Wood Products.. What a time it was in the 80s.. Women were Ladies. And dressed the part.. Back to subject of Donnie! When back from a trip Donnie would inspect tractor trailer fix any issues and have it sitting ready for the next load going anywhere east of the Mississippi from Maine to Florida. Many times I would see a company truck in New York City..It would be Donnie..A driver would not show up so Donnie would take load just to get away from shop..At times I would meet up with Smoker in Maine or Double D Delivering to Laugardia Airport.. Our friends would pop out anywhere on the east coast..What a time it was.. A movie could be made..Donnie helped me become the man I am today.. Carring for friends and family was what Donnie was about..He will be Greatfully missed by the industry,Friends and myself.. Teresa came into his life and made him a family man for over 30 years. Hia two daughters was his life.. His dog SNOW was just as much a friend and family member as anyone I mentioned.. There are a lot of people I didn’t mention who were apart of our weekends we had with Donnie. The weekends were guaranteed to be fun.. You are missed my friend..

Backroads said to Wizard: Get the bucket out of pickup and put in boat. Wizard to Backroads: Why does bucket have such a long rope on it? Backroads says it is because that is an old anchor line.. You know Wizard we have caught a lot of fish here at Fairview Beach entrance to the marina..Wizard that is the first flounder I\’ve seen caught around here and a big one..Put it in the bucket and put it back in the water.. Here, put this fish in the bucket.. Where is the bucket? Didn\’t you tie the rope end to the boat? NO !
