“I’m so sorry for the loss of your father, Bree Washington Yotko, and your brother Bonnie. It also seems you weren’t included in the obituary, which must be very difficult. Please know I’m here for you during this challenging time.”

God was truly with Mom and me the day we found you. After months of not knowing where you were, that day became a gift I will cherish forever. Hugging you, sharing tears of joy, and seeing you smile as you thanked us for finding you is a memory I hold close to my heart. I never imagined it would be the last time, but I am so grateful for that moment of peace and love. Our father-daughter time will always be remembered. I still remember you teaching me to dive at the Knights of Columbus pool, our bike rides where we found that $10 bill, learning to rollerblade together, trips to Myrtle Beach, visiting Aunt Bonnie in Maine, and going to Florida where you let me drive the boat. And let’s not forget the best memory of all—having you and Larry walk me down the aisle on my wedding day. Those memories, and you, will always mean the world to me.

So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I worked with him at the Prince George’s county office of the sheriff. He was a very nice and kind person. RIP,
