I was glad to have met Elmer soon after arriving in Colonial Beach. Over the next couple of years, I had the pleasure of getting to know him and hearing of his boat experiences at CBYC. When we pulled my wooden Chris Craft, I asked him to consult on the haul out with me. He agreed and I found his knowledge and experience to be invaluable. Elmer was a blessing to me and many others.
