Barbara was an extraordinary human being. Decades ago she helped my sister, Alice Rooks Schoolmeester, when she lay dying from Breast Cancer. Barbara was there from day one till the end. I shall never forget her love and kindness toward my sister Alice. She was also very kind to me, Joan Marie Rooks. Barbara was a lady greatly gifted in kindness, intellect. She did so much for so many. God rest your beautiful soul, Barbara. And btw hope you received the blue and white pillow I sent you Christmas 2023 Alice made it. Eternal love to you, Barbara. We shall meet next time in Heaven. Joan Marie Rooks
Visitation & Funeral Service Information
Barbara will be interred in a private ceremony in Juniata Memorial Park in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, surrounded by friends and family members who have passed before, including her troupe of Miniature Schnauzers – Charlie, Roxanne, Oscar and Willie.
