From the Halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli; We fight our country’s battles In the air, on land, and sea; First to fight for right and freedom And to keep our honor clean; We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marine. Our flag’s unfurled to every breeze From dawn to setting sun; We have fought in every clime and place Where we could take a gun; In the snow of far-off Northern lands And in sunny tropic scenes, You will find us always on the job The United States Marines. Here’s health to you and to our Corps Which we are proud to serve; In many a strife we’ve fought for life And never lost our nerve. If the Army and the Navy Ever look on Heaven’s scenes, They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines.

Angie/David: There are no words that can ease your hurt during this time. Stay in bed, scream if you need too! It’s all so very appropriate! You have family and friends that are here to hear you vent when you need it. Take comfort in talking about that wonderful young man. I still see him as that little tee ball kid that Mallory played with. Know that I think of you often!!! Hugs to you both! Terri

Lindy I am so sorry for your loss. What I remember about Riley, is that he would be in your office , and he was always so polite and kind to me. Also, I remember how proud you were of him and how much it meant to you that he came to work with you. You always had a huge smile on those days. I love you Lindy….Glenn

Riley, I am so sorry, I miss you so much already. You were such a good friend in High school and I’m sorry our lives were so split afterwards. You deserve so much. Thank you for being so kind and always making me laugh. It hurts me the most to think that you were going through something that I understood and also went through and yet I never knew. You always seemed to have everything together, and with your intelligence you seemingly succeeded in life. I wish I could’ve been there to tell you I understood and I wish I could’ve helped you. I will miss you very much, me and Tatev, and Garrett all will. Also to Mr and Mrs Sawdy, I am sending you all of my love and I pray that you can find peace within yourselves as so do I. -Kirsten

I am so very sorry to hear about this…My son was his roommate for 2 years in 29…he was a very good friend to him. They had a bond that will be forever within my sons heart! The jokes & moments they shared when they were far from their family & friends. They created their own special family within those barracks… My heart breaks for all who knew SAWDY. As Justin called him. Hugs & prayers.
