I have the fondest memories of Mr. G he was such a cool dude! He was so supportive at a time in my life when I needed it the most! He helped me when I got my 1st car way back in the 80’s! I was so excited! He helped me pick out wheels and ordered them @ Western Auto & put them on for me. He was always wonderful to me and I really had a lot of respect for him! My condolences to his family, my dear friend Lisa! Love to you all!

What a wonderful kind loving funny man. I remember going out on the boat with him and Lisa and the kids. He was so much fun and funny. If you didn’t know him he made you feel like you knew him for years. He was a humble man and I thank him for serving our country as he did. Know that I am praying for the family through this time of healing.

Col Ed will always be on my memories. I met Ed during my internships at KUSA in ‘87 and ‘89. What can I say, he was a wonderful colleague with a tremendous sense of humor! He loved to chew on the rim of his styrofoam coffeecup. It’s unusual, but one thing I always will remember. My thoughts are with his family and friends! I never will forget the happy days we had together!

Ed was a great person and so full of life. My first introduction into Husker Football was at his house when I was a little girl. Will never forget all the great times we had when he visited us in Nebraska on hunting trips and sometimes just for a visit. He held a special place in my folks life and in all of ours. Our sincere condolences to all of you in Ed’s family. The Bennett Family
