Mr and Mrs Redding have been my mail customers for over 20 years. My favorite laugh was of Mr Redding giving me cookies for a Christmas gift and the cookies were individually wrapped by Mrs Redding. When I opened the box, Mr Redding saw that the cookies had been wrapped, grabbed 2 and said, “The wife won’t let me have any so I will take 2 of yours. You don’t mind do you?” I told him no and as we talked he ate them before going back in the house. He said that Betty would get mad if she saw him eating them! Lovely man with a great smile and witty as all get out! Safe home, sir! You will be missed!
Visitation & Funeral Service Information
A Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2nd, 2020 from 9:00AM – 10:30AM at the Colonial Beach Chapel of Storke Funeral Home, 131 3rd Street, Colonial Beach, VA. Afterwards there will be a procession from the Funeral Home to the Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Colonial Beach, VA.
Burial will follow that afternoon at 2:00 PM in St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Cemetery, 38888 Dr. Johnson Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland
