To my dear Barbara, we were very close friends for many years. I was just catching up on my newspapers and saw where Doug passed away. I am so sorry to see this. He was a hard working man and would do anything for his family. I know that he struggled for a long time with health issues and so sorry to see he lost his battle. It had to be very hard to go through this plus trying to cope with the COVID-19. My heart goes out to you and your family. I wish things had been different and I had not lost you. So sorry for your loss Doug was a great friend of mine for many years , always there to help me with my racing years . He will be greatly missed
