My family and I have been blessed with knowing this remarkable woman for over 26 years. My children were two of the countless children for whom she was a care-giver. We all loved her and she will always have a place in our hearts. Everyone who knew Reba knew that caring for children was her God-given talent. She absolutely changed this world – one child at a time. Thank you Reba for your love, friendship and kindness. You will never be forgotten.

To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories under her care and playing in the yard. Her kindness, love of children, yet confident resoluteness has had an immeasurable positive impact on who I am and I am very thankful for that. Please know that her spirit lives on in the many many people she touched over the years. We mourn with you yet celebrate the fortune we had to know her.

Billy, Pam, Doug and family, So sorry to hear about Reba. She was a great person and loved her family. So many memories and the meals we shared with the family. Fishing off the pier behind the house and hunting on the back of the property. Reba would always welcome you with a smile and a hug. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Doug, Steve and I are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Some of our happiest times were when we lived next to you at Roseland Rd and knowing that your parents where across the road was a great comfort. We hope you know that Steve and I are feeling for you as you deal with the loss of your mother and our thoughts and prayers and with you at this difficult time. We wish we could participate in the funeral but we understand w/ the current circumstances, our thoughts will have to do. Jackie and Steve DeVore

Mrs Green or Aunt Reba, she was like no other. Truly a beautiful soul taken from this earth but now in heaven with our Lord in the most perfect body, free of pain. We loved her dearly and will always keep the most precious memories of her in our hearts.

My family and I are so very sad to hear this. Reba has been an institution in our lives and so lovingly cared for my boys, as well as numerous other children. May she rest in eternal peace and her family is comforted.

We were so sorry to hear of Reba’s passing. Reba was one of the first people Jeri met upon moving to Roseland Road. She would reach out to offer to watch our children when weather would cause school closings. Always a sweet smile on her face. She will be missed. Our condolences to the Green family. We are sorry these strange times prevent us from gathering to celebrate Reba’s life.
