It was such a joy to work with and know Rear Admiral Engel. I met him after a birthday gift went wrong. He was the strongest, most hard working 80 year old (he was 80 at that time) I have ever known. But he was also the kindest and considerate and compassionate. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and wish Tan and the rest of the family all the best and much sympathy. He was an unforgettable man.

So sorry to hear of Uncle Paul’s passing. I have fond memories of he and Grandpa visiting our family in Atlanta and later on with his own family visiting at the Lake. Thinking of you all, Tan, Marty, Mike, Mimi and families. David and I send our prayers. Love, Gretchen

Visitation & Funeral Service Information
Funeral services will be held November 23, 2020 at 9 AM in the Old Post Chapel at Fort Myer and burial, with full Military Honors, will follow in Arlington National Cemetery.
