One more thought. It’s one thing being a mother of children, but it’s another thing being the mother of a warrior, not only in one war but two wars. I witnessed Clara’s courage during those times, and she was always there for her children but especially the Sergeant Major. Her prayers brought him back home safely every time. I believe God is blessing her right now for her steadfast love. She set the example for the rest of us who have had sons in harm’s way. Go rest in peace, Clara! We love you!

Ed, Joan, and family, Please accept my sincere sympathy. I miss the phone calls between your mother and my mother. They were not only family but friends. Now, Clara is with Brother and Gloria–Lot of rejoicing going on in Heaven now with all those Franks and extended families. Cindy

I have known Clara for many years. Whenever I was in Virginia visiting Airy we would stop in to see her and were greeted with a big smile and hug. She walks the Heavenly streets of gold where she is reunited with Ed, Gloria, her parents and many others (including my husband Roy). I know you will all miss Clara. My prayers of sympathy and comfort go up for you all as God has wrapped Clara in His loving arms and given her peace.

Our prayers go out to the family and friends. Gibby spent lots of time at her house when younger. We believe she is walking those streets of gold now and we will see her again. Gibby and Betty
