Bill was one of the smartest guys I know; always ready to lend a helping hand. He is one of the people who made me who I am, and he will be missed.

Bill was a valued colleague, friend and mentor to me at GEICO. His work ethic was impeccable, and his wit and humor was always great to see. He would be available for impromptu conversations about diverse topics including his coin collection, working with difficult people, his long commute, etc. RIP.

I met Bill when I started working at GEICO 2 years ago. From day one Bill made me feel welcomed by always greeting me in the morning and wishing me safe travels before he left for home. Bill was nice to everyone and was kindly known as the man who kept the candy jar full. He also collected donations for Children’s National Hospital year round. My deepest sympathies go out to Bill’s family and may my condolences bring you comfort and my prayers ease the pain of his loss.

I was lucky to have worked with Bill at GEICO for the past couple years. He was a wonderful, smart, and interesting coworker. He started a generous candy bowl where donations for a candy were collected to give to Children’s hospital. While we all tried to bring in some candy, Bill seem to always get to the refills with big bags the best chocolates to keep us all in sweets. I am not if he ever ate one piece? We’d laugh at how folks loved to grab a handful on their way out of the office to enjoy on the ride home at night. I grew up in Valley Forge that is near him childhood in Phoenixville and we often talked about what was happening ‘back home”. He was always kind and great for a laugh and good conversation. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I want to make some promises to you Dad as a way to honor you. Here is my promise to you Dad. I am going to work to continue to become the best nurse possible and to care for anyone who needs me, to show love and compassion and to give to anyone who feels lost. I also am going to work at saving money and always remember “there is always a car payment, so save money just incase you need it”. I will draw closer to my sister and brother and be there for them and I will do all this because you would have wanted that to happen. I will be the best parent to my children and they will never question if I love them. I love you dad! Always and Forever – Kimberly
