I was sad to hear of Billy’s passing. I worked for him when he was Treasurer of Bowling Green. He was a wonderful person and always made you feel special. He made the world a better place. I feel sure he is now enjoying his new home in heaven. May he rest in peace.

Billy was such a kind soul. His compassion for others, his smile and his humor will not be forgotten in Bowling Green. Billy served the town well for many years! Beverly, Janet and families, please accept my sincere condolences as you grieve the loss of a wonderful person!

We were roommates at William and Mary. He was “Will” when we knew him. He was a good man.

I only met Billy once, at Liz’s wedding several years ago. Even in that brief time, he struck me as an exceptionally kind and loving person. I felt like I knew him already from hearing Liz’s stories and overhearing her conversations with Billy and her grandmother. He was so special to Liz, as he was to the rest of their family. It is so hard to lose a person like Billy, it feels like a bit of light has left the world. I know he will be missed.
