We just heard. We know Donald will be missed by many. You can’t know Donald and not know he loved Jesus.

Dearest Jessie, Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. I have such fond memories of Mr. Donald. As a child I remember him being busy with Sunday School business on Sunday mornings. Then he was taking up the offering. In later years, he would be standing on the balcony steps after operating the sound system. Then he would make sure the lights were off and the doors were locked. He loved the Lord and he loved Colonial Beach Baptist Church! He will be forever in our hearts.

On November 20th, I lost a very dear friend of mine. He was such a joy to work with at Hall’s Market. He could make me laugh and the hours would fly by! I will always remember Uncle Donald with love. My sincere sympathy to Jessie and Family. Kaye Bennett

You have been the best Grandaddy anyone could ever ask for! I have so many perfect memories with you. You always find a way to make everyone smile. We will find a way to ‘Keepa’ smiling’. I love you.
