My sincere condolences for the passing of June. She was blessed in life with a loving family. When she moved to assisted living, she was fortunate to have dedicated visits by her niece Charlotte Ann Trotter Hooten who reminded June how much she was loved. I recall Sunday dinners with June at Mrs. Trotter’s house in Colonial Beach. June was an interesting person and always had a lovely smile. Rest in peace.

Steve and family: You certainly captured the essence of your Mom in this picture! She was full of like and loved being with family and friends. I enjoyed visits at my Grandma & Papa (Katharine & Harry) Gough’s Waldorf home with the Hancocks. I’m glad that your Mom came to our family reunions in Charles County so that we could get to know her. Your Mom is at peace with the Lord.

My Aunt June was a very sweet and loving soul. She and my father (Rayner Hancock) would always go to lunch at my Grandmother’s (Rose Hancock) home where they would make small talk and really enjoy each others company. I enjoyed listening to their stories when ever they would get together. I will miss her sweet smile and how kind she was to everyone. Love always and forever.
