In thinking of the words to best describe our wonderful friend, Steve Erisman, I first think of the many times he made us laugh. His warmth and love were immeasurable. The stories he shared about his life were amazing. And the way his face lit up when sharing will never be forgotten. This picture captures that wonderful smile. His love for his family and friends was truly a gift. He didn’t hesitate to let you know how important you were to him. A man with one of the biggest hearts to share. Steve was a unique man who’s kindness and compassion always left us feeling better about ourselves. He shared the best jokes and not one conversation every passed without a lot of laughter. He could debate any subject and would always end up making us laugh uncontrollably when pointing out we were off base. Our kids were always amazed at how much Steve was so much like their own Dad. Going to Pink Floyd concerts with these two were some of their best memories. I would always tell him he was sassy and he would always say that there is no other way to be. Our world was such a better place with Steve in it and we are absolutely blessed that he was in our life. May he rest now without the painful struggles but know that we will miss you immensely and we will always love you our dear friend. You stay comfortably numb.
