My heart is broken that I have lost a dear friend. Bill was a southern gentleman and so good to me over the years. He and Doris have been family to me since he found out my parents were from Louisiana and I went to LSU. We would have the best time talking about the LSU Tigers and how the football team was doing and last year they were Number #1. I am going to miss this sweet, kind and generous man. I worked with Billy for many years at the Indian Head Naval Base. I had the pleasure of training under Billy who had wealth of knowledge and a sharp wit.
