Jo was a special friend. We especially enjoyed our time with the King George Book Club. Many times I would pick her up or drive her home…maybe even stop for lunch. I also drove her to/from doctors and the hospital. I visited her in Fredericksburg and we kept up with each other with letters…she was a great writer! I am sorry that she is gone. My condolences to the family. I almost know each of you; she was so proud of you.

I am truly sorry for your loss. As a long time friend, I will always hold dear the many times we shared together. We were brought together through our husbands being school mates and also working together everyday in the work place. She had a pleasant spirit and so enjoyed the interaction with people. I feel she is now at peace and her battles with health issues are now over. The utmost wonderful thought is she is reunited with family member, especially with Johnny and Doug. She spoke often of them and missed them dearly. Such a friend was Jo; I will hold her memories dearly in my heart. May you find comfort in remembering the love and care she had for each one of you.

Dear Cindy and Sheila and families, We are sending you our deepest condolences on the passing of Aunt Jo. We have so many great memories of the many laughs and good times we shared with Aunt Jo and Uncle Johnny over the years. She was both a very loving and fun-loving aunt. We will miss her greatly and she will always occupy a special place in our hearts. Love to you all, Laura, Mike, Lily, and Esmé

Dear ones: You all are in our thoughts and prayers. Try not to cry over what is no longer but smile and be glad for what was! Share your happy memories with others. It will keep Jo close. Remember that although grief never ends… it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love. We are asking that God grant you all courage, strength, peace and joy. luv, Bob and Carol 😉
