I was sad to hear about your passing. I can only imagine what you were feeling during your last days on earth. You were such a strong hard working man that very seldom took a break from anything. I am sure it was difficult for you to fall ill knowing what it all meant. I find comfort in so many memories I have of you. I always heard stories about you prior to meeting you but from the day I met you until the last time I saw you in January 2020 you always laughed, had a smile on your face, worked hard and never made me feel anything but love from you. I remember our talks, every last one of them. I remember discussing God and Heaven with you because of things I had to deal with in my life. I remember one time you coming to see me without anyone knowing, to check on me and the kids. You wanted to make sure we were ok and it was that visit that I learned how important you felt marriage and family were. I thank you for that talk more than words can express. You were one of the hardest working men I have ever met and I know if there are specific jewels in heaven for hard work your crown will be full of them. Where it proudly, you deserve it! 1 Timothy 5:8 – You have provided so much! Proverbs 10:4 – Now you know, your riches were never here on earth. Your riches lay in Heaven! You were a good man Johnny Martin and I will never let your legacy die in my home. Until we meet again…………..
