Hard to express in words how sad Dad and I are with the passing of “Momma Bear”. Our hearts go out to our extended family! Can’t stop thinking about all those camping trips to Gatlinburg! We were blessed to have shared a huge part of lives with the Braddy family and are so blessed Katie had such a wonderful Grandmother! Got bless the family as the heal from this terrible loss. I remember Aunt Carolyn visiting at grandma Braddy’s at the Bonnie campground. Usually around Christmas time. She was always laughing and telling stories. Always miss those times… thoughts and prayers to all my cousins and Uncle Roy. Love and miss you, Tim, Monica and Jade

Tina, we are so sorry for your loss. I remember the first time I met your mom was when I came in for my interview with you at REMS and she was sitting at the front desk. Such a lovely and friendly lady and she put me at ease right away. What a wonderful mom you and your sisters had and a blessing for all the grandchildren too. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time and I know our loving heavenly Father will comfort you in the days and weeks ahead. Love you Tina! ❤️

Dear ones, At times like this it is hard to say something that will be helpful for the immediate moment. However, I would like to share something that my daddy taught me many years ago. I have tested it and it has held true. He said that as long as we keep the happy memories of our loved ones close in our heart and share those memories with others, they can never really leave us. I am sure you have many, many happy times to remember about your loved one. Hold them close, share them with your family. Laugh, cry, and remember. Grief never ends. but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, not a lack of faith. It is the price of love. I will be praying for you all to have comfort, peace and joy. That is what Carolyn would wish you, I am sure. carol 😉

Ken, Becky, Tina, Robin and Pam…I remember the first time we met Carolyn. Ken Roy brought her to meet mom and dad Braddy when we lived at the Bonnie Camp Ground. I’m sure she was nervous about meeting all of us for the first time but you couldn’t tell. Mom loved her long hair and she would run her fingers through it! Haha. Carolyn would just grin!! We all loved her from the very first moment we met her!! Guy and I are praying that you all will feel God’s peace and presence during this difficult time! Love and Hugs to you all!!! Glenda and Guy Rogers (baby sister to Ken)
