I saw Henry and Nancy in Bowling Green several years ago. It had been years since I had seen them! We looked at each other and before I could speak, Nancy said, “Lynn, is that you?” And I answered, “Yes! You are Shorty’s parents!” We had a wonderful conversation, as if no time had passed. I will always remember Henery with a sparkle in his eyes, a smile on his face and a constant, welcoming aura of kindness. No one was a stranger. It is with a heavy heart I send my condolences to Nancy, Shorty and the entire family. Heaven gained an angel whose job now is to watch over each of you from above. I am so sorry!

To the family I am praying for the entire Barlow family. Mr. Barlow was a very loving and caring person. My mother Pauline Gregory Harris loved him dearly. He would bring her food from the fire department after every salt fish breakfast. May Mr. Barlow soul Rest In Peace.
