My thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends. Jeannie and I were friends before Potomac Elementary school. We would often sit in each other’s seat in the Beginner Department at Oakland Baptist. She had the fullness of life early and could light up a room when she walked in. She made everyone feel better for having been in her presence. Jean cared for everyone and would reach out to them. I loved seeing her when I returned to King George. She was still sharing Christian love and joy with whomever she came in touch with. Her legacy will carry on in so many people. She touched more people than we can count. Thank you Jeannie for loving your family and everyone else also. Blessings and Prayers to your Family and Friends, Mary Lynne Griffin Moore

I am sorry to hear of Jean’s passing. I first met her when I started work at Dahlgren and though I never worked directly with her and saw less of her over the years, she always seemed happy to see me and talk a little. Because of her lively personality and youthful demeanor, I remember being impressed when I found out that she was married, had several children, and had just completed her college degree after going back to school.

Jean was such a sweet person. We were on several group trips with her. Jean worked with Bill at the bank. She will be remembered as a very caring person–looking in on many people at Oakland Church. Bill and Carolyn Wilkins

I’ve known Jean for many years, first as a mother to you in my class at Potomac many years ago. She dog sat for us once on Eden Drive and I reconnected with her in recent years out walking my dog around the swimming pool area. I’d see her coming down the road with her little white furry ones, and we’d talk at the corner. I will miss her on those walks. So sorry that this happened to her, and to all of you. She’s now at peace and hopefully, you all will rest easier now. Know that her neighbors are with you in spirit and love.

Jean was a sweet, kind and gentle soul. I so enjoyed the last time I saw her. It was before the pandemic and we saw each other driving through Warsaw. We pulled off and had a nice chat. I know she will be missed and I send my heartfelt condolences to her extended family as you work through this difficult time. Here’s to the fond, positive memories.

Dear Ones: Many people walk in and out of our lives but only true friends leave footprints. Jeanne left footprints all OVER! At this time, it would be good to remember that. My daddy taught me many years ago that if we remember, and share the happy memories with others, our loved one can never really leave us. I have tested that very often over the years and found it true! Do it. Remember, cry, LAUGH and share. There are so many things you must be feeling today, but I trust that what you feel most is loved, remembered and held close to many hearts because you ARE. carol sparbel 😉
