Perry was one of first persons to make me feel welcome at NVGC, when I started the bench rest matches. I’ll miss our conversations after the matches. The family are in my prayers. I won’t forget my my friend, Perry

To The Fridley Family, We were so saddened and shocked to hear about Perry’s passing, I believe it was over three years ago when we met him at a cookout at the club after Jeff had became a member at the gun club. Then Jeff started shooting in Perry’s .22 Rimfire benchrest match and I started shooting in the match last year. We really enjoyed shooting with him. We are going to miss not being able to become closer friends with him, he was always very nice to us. We are keeping your family in are prayers. Jeff and Donna

Words can’t express how truly heartbroken we feel on Perry’s passing. We were so blessed to have known him these past ten plus years through NVGC. He was always kind to and had a good word for my wife Jerri, my boys (Nick & Jake) and me. He was a wonderful friend and someone I will never forget. He was a good man and his legacy is going to stick with all of us for quite some time. I think the thing that I’ll miss the most is not being able to have those hour (or two) occasions when several of us would just chew the fat after a rifle match, work party or meeting. Perry always had a story a for us that could make us laugh. Perry will stay alilve in my memory for quite some time because of all of the good memories I have of him. I hope that knowing how fondly he’ll be remembered by so many of his friends will add some degree of solace in this time of grief. He was a good man and he’ll be missed.

I was saddened to hear this shocking news. My heart goes out to you at this time of grief. I only knew Perry for three years (when I joined NVGC), but every time I meet him at NVGC I learned something new. NVGC will not be the same for me without Perry, and I will always remember him fondly. I know words can’t take away the hurt you’re feeling, but I want you to know that I am just one of many that cared about Perry, and that we will always remember him for the great man and friend that he was. Sending you love and strength in this time of loss. Henry Font Waldorf, MD
