I had the distinct honor and privilege of working with Steve as a consultant to his team at Prince William County. Being a witness to part of his deep journey on this planet was rich beyond words. I am humbled and honored to have been in partnership with him. May his memory bring peace and comfort to us all and to his family and dearest friends and colleagues especially.

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen in Culpeper in the Criminal Justice arena. I just heard about his passing this morning and am heartsick at this very sad news. He truly was a gentle, kind and caring soul who was doing the work to help people for all the right reasons. I have very positive and fond memories of working with him and I know how much he loved his family and friends. My condolences and prayers to each of you as you grieve the loss of a really wonderful human being. God bless you. Lisa Peacock

Prayers for his family❤️❤️ – can’t believe someone that young is no longer here on this Earth but he is in a much happier place. I can remember all of us (kids) growing up in Carmel Church. Wish I could be there to attend the service. I know you are and will be missed by many! God had other plans for you!

From our college years on, you have and always will be my friend. You are loved and remembered for your kindness and compassion for others. You were a brother in Christ and a supportive prayer partner through many years. I am thankful for your listening ear, heart for God, and your diligence to choose to do what is right. God has always known your heart, and I am sure He was there to welcome you Home. I am glad you are no longer hurting and are at peace. Until we see each other again at those golden gates – much love to those you leave behind, as you are gone way too soon. We love you, big guy.
