Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Emmett. He was a beloved member of the community. He had a genuine smile for everyone. He will be missed by many. I always looked forward to my conversations with him at the post office and other places in Town.

Emmett was a special man in my life like Rachel. He was so lonely but is know with is lovely wife. We enjoy our phone calls & visits. Rest in peace. Sending Love & Prayers to the Family??

Mr. Farmer was such a great human being. Thank you for being such a great family friend. Our family enjoyed our many visits with you. I know you loved the soup we would bring you that my daughter made especially for you. We we sadly miss you, I know you are rejoicing with Rachel. Rest in peace my dear friend.

Mr. Farmer was a great friend and always nice to everyone. He did so much for all of us. REST IN PEACE , You kept your eye’s on the LORD, you always wore a smile on your face. Your work at the church help everyone. Words could never explain the great life you lived here. We will always remember you Mr. Farmer. God promise you a reward in heaven. I can say that now, ALL IS WELL WITH YOUR SOUL. Christian Love to you my brother in Christ.

Visitation & Funeral Service Information

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 29th at 2:00pm at Lakewood Cemetery in Bowling Green, VA and the family will receive friends at the cemetery, beginning at 1:30pm.
