My prayers and thoughts are with Kenneth and all of Elizabeth’s family. Her love of history will live on in books she has researched and authored and in the King George Museum; but her love of family will live on through Kenneth, her children, and her brothers and sisters and their families. May she rest in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ, and may you all find comfort in memories of days gone by.

I am deeply saddened by Elizabeth’s passing. She was my Fitzhugh cousin and we went through most of school together. She was one of the sweetest, most faithful and upbeat women I’ve known. Her contributions to King George County, especially to our history and to the history museum are incalculable and her work will be missed. She will live on in the work of the museum and in her published research. I send prayers of comfort to Kenny and her family and I hope your many wonderful memories of Elizabeth fill that space in your hearts that her loss has left.

So much of what we now know about King George history can be attributed to Elizabeth. There never was a more sincere person. Never pretentious, but ever a leader, she will be greatly missed. Blessings to all the family.

Dear Kenneth and family, Elizabeth was one of a kind and respected and loved by so many in King George. She authored books about King George that detailed the county’s history. I for one appreciate all she did for King George, our church at Shiloh, and so much more. May she rest in eternal peace. Elizabeth. was a good and faithful citizen and servant who contributed way beyond most people’s comprehension. Your friends, Cindy and Luke
