First thoughts that come to mind when saying the name George Walker Box – a gregarious southern gentleman who was real and authentic. Whether you had just met Walker or you had known him for years, you were always comfortable in his presence. I had not talked to him since last summer when I called to offer condolences on his Mother. We talked about his health concerns, Mary Spotswood and the grandsons. He had so much to live for. He will be missed.
