I am sad to see this, and am sorry that I was not able to attend the service. I have fond memories of “Uncle Gouldthorpe” and Brucie from my childhood at St. Mary’s. Brucie was a lovely person — my deepest sympathy to all the family.

How very important the Pane ladies were to us Warren girls! We are all saddened by the loss of dear Bruce. She was an incomparable resource for Dahlgren history and a great supporter of Dahlgren School reunions. I’m so lucky to have listened to her stories and shared laughs. My heart goes out to all her dear ones.

Visitation & Funeral Service Information
There will be a memorial service for Mrs. Gouldthorpe at 11:00AM on Saturday April 20th at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 5486 St. Paul’s Road, Owens, VA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Mary Washington Hospice.
