So sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing, we worked together at Bae Systems for many years. He was always good for a story, laugh, or some farmer knowledge. Prayers to his family.

My condolences to the whole Hannick family. His aunt married my uncle; therefore, we share some of the same first cousins. Also, Wayne and I graduated from KGHS together. He has always, consistently, been such a good soul and no nonsense as somebody stated. May he rest in eternal peace. Cynthia King Miller,

Salt of the earth is what Wayne Hannick was. His no nonsense and giving nature made it easy to respect him and one always knew where he stood on things. God graced us with knowing him and his beautiful wife Mary and all the Hannick family. A legend who will be greatly missed. Mary and family know you are surrounded with love and prayers now and always!

To the family: Wayne was one of my father’s best friends (Robert Lam) during his employment at Dahlgren! He always spoke so highly of him! I remember seeing him when I would visit my dad at work when I was a little girl! My dad passed in November 2023 so I know he was waiting for Wayne when he got there! Thoughts and prayers! Heaven has gained a beautiful soul. Generous and kind, We could not ask for a better friend or neighbor than Wayne. He welcomed us as family and took care of us with his garden bounty. I know he will be greatly missed by bovine and his humans. Lord thank You for letting us know him for even such a small time. Comfort his friends and much love to his family.
