Ms Kemp was my Jr High & High school bus driver. She was awesome! You better be on time, or you’d miss the bus. However, you would get to school & home in record time! She expected you to behave. If you did, there were no problems. If you didn’t, she’d spare no one from consequences. Her sons Dougie & Sean rode the bus with me. Their older siblings rode the bus with my older brother. Ms Kemp was a fixture in the lives of many youngsters for many years. Thank you for protecting us & ensuring our bus rides were memorable. Condolences to her family. With heartfelt sympathy,

A Dedication to The Matriarch: Nanny Kemp. “Each footprint tells a story of a mom who went before us. Secrets of the matriarchal kind that whisper to our hearts, cheering us on, echoing hard-fought lessons, their very dust swirling in our faces. We strain to see in the hazy distance of time, the secrets their lives teach us.” – Stephanie Shott Our Nanny, the Matriarch, carried within her the power to endure pain, the courage to sacrifice, and the power to create and nurture our lives. She was and will forever be the epitome of bravery, strength, and love. “Love You, More.” Someone we love has passed away and life is no longer the same. The greatest gift that you can give, is to simply speak Her name. Talk about the stories, and tales of days gone past. Keep Her legacy alive in you, Make those memories last. Remember the sound of Her laughter, and Her scent when She was near. Remember She believed in you, and that faith is greater than fear. Remember Her warmth when She hugged you tight, and Her smile as you walked in Her door, and do not forget, don’t you EVER forget, Nanny loved you, more ~Jessica Kemp
