We were so sorry to hear about Mary today. She was a kind woman and dedicated wife. We wish we had known about her passing. We surely would have attended her celebration of life. Please accept our condolences and sympathy as late as this is.

Mary was my second-grade teacher and when I became an adult she became a dear friend. My mother always told me that I was struggling to learn to read until I met Mary’s classroom. She taught me to read well and I’ve never stopped. What a gift! Mary was one of the most humble people I have ever known. Whenever I would remind her how grateful I was for teaching me, she would always say she had not done anything special. My memories of her will always be sweet and loving just as she was. My sympathies to Anna, William and her grandsons.

Anna, My family and I send our heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mother. The Bible tells us that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Your mother, my friend, has taken her place beside the Heavenly Father. She is resting in his loving arms, surrounded by the angels. Anna, my prayer is that you and your family will find comfort knowing how much she was loved by so many people. I will be praying for you and with you my friend. Love to you all, Celane
