Born in Caroline. she was the daughter of the late Brooking and Annie Bell Cecil. She was the widow of Webb Beasley. She loved to cook, sew and garden. She was as member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and had worked in food service for Caroline County Public Schools for many years. She is survived by her three daughters, Faye Mundie (David), Wanda Smith (Troy) and Tina Tidwell (Bo); two sisters, Margie Cecil and Mary Shook; five brothers, Stuart Cecil, Jr., Richard Cecil, Milton Cecil, Billy Cecil and Joseph “Dick” Cecil; her four grandsons that she cherished, David Mundie (Teresa), Brian Mundie (Heather), Sean Tidwell and Colby Tidwell; two great granddaughters, Desiree Mundie and Destiny Mundie; and a step-granddaughter, McKenzie Carter. A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception will be held following the burial at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. A special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Bowling Green Health and Rehab, Fredericksburg Health and Rehab and Amedisys Hospice.
Visitation & Funeral Service Information
A funeral service will be held 2 pm Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Cemetery. A reception will be held following the burial at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church.
